The administrative burden on companies and individuals arising from regulatory and supervisory actions must be reduced, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said.

“The administrative burden on companies, enterprises and citizens must be reduced,” he said at a meeting of the presidential council on strategic development and priority projects.

“A responsible business, which is not one that poses a high risk of inflicting harm, should not have the feeling that it is a besieged fortress, constantly subject to inspections,” he said.
