KRASNOYARSK. Feb 19 (Interfax) – Russian government officials intend to formulate the country’s development strategy to the year 2030 in the next few months, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said, opening the plenary session of the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum on Friday.

“We have gathered not only in order to talk, but also to formulate solutions or approaches to solving the problems that we face. […] We have to formulate a policy document in the next few months,” Dvorkovich said.

“We are obligated to jointly formulate a strategy that will enable us to remain among the leaders of global development,” Dvorkovich said, adding that Russia has everything it needs to achieve this – people, natural wealth, land and neighbours.

“The world will change a great deal as a result of changes in technology. And this implies serious changes, serious requirements for what the government does. Among other things, in science, education, […] in general this implies changes in the rules of the game, the rules of interaction between various institutions,” Dvorkovich said.
