Russia Matters is live!

Dear Friends and Colleagues:

We are pleased to introduce Russia Matters-a new website that provides top-notch analysis, user-friendly data and curated news digests on U.S. policy toward Russia, U.S.-Russian relations and Russian policies that impact vital U.S. national interests. We are also developing a fact-check section that will grow as we collect more claims to verify.

At a time when so much commentary on Russia is steeped in wishful thinking and outright myths, we want Russia Matters to be your go-to source for a fact-based, balanced, realistic assessment of tensions and opportunities in relations between Washington and Moscow.

You can access Russia Matters at www.russiamatters.org. It is the centerpiece of the Russia Matters Project, which is based at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and is made possible with support from Carnegie Corporation of New York.

Russia Matters features a weekly Russia in Review news digest, covering the U.S.-Russian bilateral relationship, Russian domestic developments and foreign affairs and trade. Knowing your interest in these topics, we have auto-subscribed you to the digest, typically sent out Friday afternoons. We hope you find it useful. If not, you can easily unsubscribe using the link below. You can also use the “update your preferences” link to subscribe to any of our three other weekly news products: Russia Analytical Report, Russia in Syria Monitor and Ukraine Conflict Monitor. (This option will be available in any communication you get from us, as well as on the website.)

We want to thank the Belfer Center and Carnegie Corporation, the featured contributors and our other partners for making Russia Matters possible.

The website is a work in progress and we welcome your feedback to make it better. We hope our efforts will enhance and support your engagement with the critical issue of Russia’s impact on U.S. national interests.

Best regards,
Simon Saradzhyan, Director
