“… Here is some of what is in the bill … $9 billion to arm, equip and train Ukrainian forces …. on top of the nearly $20 billion in [U.S.] military hardware … already sent …. $7 billion … to fund the surge of U.S. troops and gear to Europe …. $687 million for Army ammunition plants[] to build capacity …. $300 million for Ukrainian police and border guards, in part for the rescue and protection of civilians …. $4 billion to aid Ukrainian refugees …. Millions to [GAO] and the State Department’s Office of Inspector General to track … and monitor Ukraine’s use of U.S. funds. … [Q]uick enactment … will depend on whether all 100 [U.S.] senators can agree to forgo debate time and proceed to a final vote. …”
