“… Mueller said Russia’s interference is continuing and will be repeated in the 2020 presidential election. ‘Over the course of my career, I have seen a number of challenges to our democracy,’ … Mueller said. ‘The Russian government’s effort to interfere in our election is among the most serious.’ He added: ‘They’re doing it as we sit here, and they expect to do it during the next campaign.’ … Mueller declared that his report should be ‘a signal, a flag to those of us who have responsibility to exercise that responsibility, not to let this kind of thing happen again.’ … a call for members of Congress to do more to protect the nation’s democracy. Yet all Americans should listen. …”
