“Yury Titov … [head of] the press service for … [the] Russian Internal Affairs Ministry [Moscow branch], has been disciplined in connection with the case against Meduza correspondent Ivan Golunov, RBC reported.  Titov and the press service … have not yet commented on the disciplinary actions … Alexander Khaminsky … former advisor for the Moscow police … submitted a[ related] inquiry to police about their handling of the Golunov case. … Golunov was arrested on fabricated drug charges … [P]hotographs … posted on the Moscow Internal Affairs branch[] website … depicted drug paraphernalia allegedly seized in Golunov’s home.
