Interfax: Kremlin calls wave of governors’ dismissals ‘rotation process’

MOSCOW. Oct 2 (Interfax) – Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has connected the appearance of a large amount of information about dismissals of governors to a rotation period.

“No doubt, there is a process of rotation taking place in the body of governors now. Naturally, this leads to a huge amount of information flows,” Peskov said, when asked about the reasons for the flurry of information in the press on the dismissals of governors.

Not all of the reports are true, he said.

“Use the reports that are given by us. Naturally, we immediately inform you of the decisions we have made, and we will continue doing so,” Peskov said.
