Interfax: Ukraine Foreign Ministry tentatively agrees to Russia’s next aid convoy – Lavrov

MOSCOW. Aug 29 (Interfax) – The Russian Foreign Ministry has received a response from Kyiv which tentatively agreed to the possible dispatch of Russia’s second Ukraine-bound humanitarian aid convoy, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.

“We have received a response note from the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, which gave its tentative agreement to a proposal to send humanitarian aid to southeastern Ukraine and outlined the Ukrainian side’s ideas concerning the logistics of this second convoy,” he said at a press conference in Moscow on Friday.

Today the Russian Foreign Ministry forwarded another note to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry in response to the latest initiatives, Lavrov said.
