TBILISI. Dec 2 (Interfax) – Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili temporarily refrains from participating in the politics in Georgia, his wife Sandra Roelofs, who is taking part in a conference on AIDS prevention held in Tbilisi as a good will ambassador of the World Health Organization, told reporters on Sunday.

“He [Mikheil Saakashvili] is full of energy and is ready to continue working. He doesn’t get tired, but it’s better for people to take a break from him. We’ll see what happens in the future. The main thing is that Georgia should continue developing in the direction of Europe,” Roelofs said.

Roelofs said Saakashvili is currently not in Georgia and it is not known when he will return to the country.
