KYIV. May 26 (Interfax) – The Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (ODIHR/OSCE) has praised the way the voting process was organized in Ukraine and hopes the vote counting will be completed before June 7.

We shall stay here until all the results have been counted and all complaints considered, and hope that all this will be completed before June 7, head of the OSCE/ODIHR long-term monitoring mission Tana de Zulueta told a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.

She recalled that over 1,000 OSCE observers were in Ukraine and all of them voiced positive reactions to the voting process.

In 98% of the polling stations, where we conducted monitoring, comments have been positive, Tana de Zulueta stressed.

She also said that the ODIHR/OSCE is ready to continue dialogue with the Ukrainian authorities over a number of reforms, including improvements to the election laws.

The international observation mission is in Ukraine under a joint project between the ODIHR/OSCE, the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE (OSCE PA), the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), the European Parliament (EP) and the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO (NATO PA).

The international observation mission comprises over 1,200 observers from 47 countries, including over 1,000 long- and short-term observers from the ODIHR, 116 parliamentarians and representatives from the OSCE PA, 46 representatives from PACE, from NATO PA and 14 from the European Parliament.
