Chubais sees income drop 42.5 mln rubles in 2012

(Interfax – MOSCOW, July 15, 2013) The income of the CEO of state company Rusnano, Anatoly Chubais fell by 42.5 million rubles to 217.7 million rubles in 2012 from 260.2 million rubles a year earlier.

Chubais’ income from his main place of work dropped to 20.55 million rubles from 22.4 million rubles, materials from the state company show.

As of December 31, 2011, like a year earlier, Chubais owned an apartment in Moscow with an area of 175.8 square meters and two parking spots totalling 30.6 square meters. There was also no change in the vehicles Chubais owns, which include a BMW X5 SUV, a Yamaha SXV70VT snowmobile and a trailer.

The declaration shows that Chubais no longer owns a 5.6-hectare plot of land in the Moscow Region (it was transferred to LLC Development Capital, which Chubais wholly owns), or 54.8% of shares in the hedge fund Perspektivnye Kompanii.

Chubais’ wife Avdotya Smirnova declared two apartments in St. Petersburg with an area of 124.2 square meters and 95.3 square meters, and half of an 85.78-square-meter apartment in Portugal. Smirnova’s income was 440,800 rubles last year.

Chubais gave 41 million rubles to charity last year, four times more than in 2011.

Rusnano deputy CEO Andrei Svinarenko had the second highest income among members of the company’s management board, earning 109.4 million rubles, including 92 million rubles in income from securities and shares in commercial organizations. Svinarenko declared 32.2 million rubles in income in 2011.

Yakov Urinson earned 84.2 million rubles in 2012 compared to 31 million rubles a year earlier, while Yury Udaltsov’s income dropped to 34.6 million rubles from 100.2 million rubles. Rusnano communications director Andrei Trapeznikov declared 14.3 million rubles in income for last year, down from 23.1 million rubles in 2011.

The lowest incomes among Rusnano management were declared by deputy CEO Oleg Kiselev with 13.7 million rubles and advisor to the CEO Sergei Kalyuzhny with 11 million rubles, compared to respectively 15.2 million rubles and 12.4 million rubles in 2011.

Four members of the Rusnano management board own real estate abroad: Kiselev has two apartments in the UK with area of 174.8 square meters and 242 square meters; Urinson owns a 686-square-meter plot of land in Slovakia; Svinarenko owns an 87-square-meter apartment in Montenegro; and Trapeznikov has acquired a 72.7-square-meter apartment in Bulgaria.
