KYIV. March 20 (Interfax) – Ukrainian entertainer and presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to win in a second round of presidential elections no matter which of the other candidates he faces, as is evident from a poll the Social Monitoring public opinion survey service and the Oleksandr Yaremenko Ukrainian Institute of Social Studies conducted on March 11 to 18.

The poll of 2,047 respondents aged 18 and older, whose results were presented at the Interfax-Ukraine office on Wednesday, show that, if Zelensky and Batkivshchyna party leader Yulia Tymoshenko face off in the second round, the former would garner 36.9% and the latter 21.4% of the vote.

If Zelensky competed with incumbent President Petro Poroshenko, he would win 41.1% to 18.2%.

If Tymoshenko and Poroshenko make it through to the second round, the Batkivshchyna leader would get 28.5% and the incumbent president 18.2% of the vote.

If Zelensky had to compete in the second round with Civic Position party leader Anatoliy Hrytsenko, he would beat him 36.1% to 25%.
