(Interfax – Moscow, July 10, 2014) Reports that bodies of Russian citizens killed in the fighting with Ukrainian forces in Ukraine are being sent to Russia are the working of Kiev’s propaganda, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Aleksandr Lukashevich has said.

“I am not familiar with the statistics and I think that it is rather inspired by Ukrainian propaganda capabilities, which emphasize every which way that we are all but fighting on the side of the [separatist] militia and that our people are in various regions of Ukraine,” he told a briefing in Moscow when answering a question on the subject from a Ukrainian journalist.

“I think it is not at all the case,” the Russian diplomat added.
