(Interfax – MOSCOW, October 19, 2013) The Russian Communist Party intends to more actively involve migrants in protest rallies “to strengthen the international component of the protest movement,” a draft decree the Central Committee of the Communist Party is expected to adopt at a plenum held in the village of Moskovsky on Saturday says.

The Central Committee’s departments on nationalities policies, CIS affairs, liaison with Russians, workers’ union movement, and liaison with public organizations have also been advised to develop forms and methods of working with labor migrants and refugees.

At the same time, the plenum proposes to protect the Russian language as a language of inter-ethnic communication in Russia and the former Soviet republics and promote the propaganda of Russian classical literature to preserve people’s historical memory and spiritual values.

The draft decree provides that the historical goal of the Russian Communist Party is to re-create the renewed union state and revive the Soviet people. The Communist Party believes this may play an important role in resolving the nationalities issue.

The main principles of the Communist Party’s anti-crisis program are the nationalization of capitalist property in the basic industries, the abolition of private property of land, and the revival and protection of Russian culture, science, and education.
