“Against all” option may reappear in Russian elections soon – Matviyenko

MOSCOW. Oct 25 (Interfax) – The “against all” option is necessary and may reappear on Russian election ballots in the medium-term future, Federation Council Chairperson Valentina Matviyenko said.

“As for this option, I still think it is necessary and I am sure it will reappear in the medium-term future,” Matviyenko told reporters on Wednesday.

The “against all” option is still available in municipal elections, she said.

“Let experts and policy specialists make their analyses ; we will still move towards this option at some point just the same,” Matviyenko said.
